Your masjid,
in every pocket.
Adhan and jamaa'ah notifications. An events calendar your community actually subscribes to. Every one of your channels — website, YouTube, live stream, WhatsApp — a single tap away.
Consultation to store submission in 4–6 weeks* · iPhone and Android · Your name, your branding, your data.
Everything a masjid needs.
Nothing it doesn't.
This isn't a template with your logo dropped in the corner. It is the app already serving Central Mosque Rochdale — prayer times, events, donations, Qibla, notifications — rebuilt around your masjid, your timetable and your brand.
Adhan and jamaa'ah, side by side.
Your timetable, not a calculated approximation. Start time and jamaa'ah time on one line, Jummah pinned to the top, and the whole year loaded on the device so it works with no signal in the prayer hall.
- Fajr through Isha with sunrise, plus a dedicated Jummah card
- Browse five days ahead — useful the night before Fajr
- Offline-first: opens instantly, works without internet
- Home screen widget so times are visible without opening the app
A nudge before jamaa'ah, not after it.
The single feature that changes attendance. Each worshipper chooses which prayers alert them and how early — so the reminder lands while there's still time to make wudhu and walk over.
- 5, 10 or 15 minutes before jamaa'ah — set per prayer
- Individual toggles: Fajr on, the rest off, if that's what they want
- Broadcast announcements from the committee — janazah, closures, appeals
- Respects Do Not Disturb and silent mode — no complaints, no uninstalls
The calendar people subscribe to.
Halaqahs, tafseer, youth nights, Ramadan programmes and janazah announcements — each with its schedule, location and who's teaching. Members follow the categories they care about and get told when something's on.
- Categories — lectures, education, religious, community, youth
- One-off and recurring programmes ("every Tuesday, after Maghrib")
- Per-category subscriptions — parents follow youth, students follow tafseer
- Updated by your team in minutes — no app update, no developer
Your whole masjid, one tap away.
Most masjids are scattered across a website, a YouTube channel, a WhatsApp group and a live stream on someone else's portal. The Connect page gathers all of it behind your icon on the home screen.
- Live stream, YouTube, website, WhatsApp channel, socials and donate link
- Qibla compass with live bearing and distance to the Ka'bah
- Donation appeals with live progress bars — money goes straight to your masjid
- Add or change a link whenever you like — it updates in the app, no new release
Shipped, in the hands of a congregation.
Every screen below is from the live Central Mosque Rochdale app — not a mockup. Light and dark mode, following each phone's setting — and every Nisbah app is built from this same foundation, branded for its own masjid.
It carries your name. Not ours.
Your logo on the icon. Your colours through every screen. Your masjid's name on the App Store and Google Play listing, published under your own organisation. Members search for you and find you — not a directory app with three hundred other mosques in it.
- Custom palette, typography and app icon drawn from your identity
- Published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts — you own it
- Your timetable, events and appeals are yours — managed by your team, never resold
- No ads, no trackers, no third party between you and your community
Why “Nisbah”? In a classical Arabic name, the nisbah is the part that says where you belong — al-Baghdādī, of Baghdad. Your app should say the same thing: this is your masjid.
Consultation to submission in four to six weeks.*
Committees are used to being told "next year, insha'Allah". This is a fixed window with a named person on the other end of the phone — me.
* The four-to-six week commitment covers everything from first consultation to submission of both apps, and assumes your Apple and Google developer accounts are verified in that time — I'll walk you through both. App Store and Google Play review sits with Apple and Google — typically a few days, occasionally longer, and outside my control. I'll keep you posted through it.
One plan. The whole thing.
Not a starter tier with notifications locked behind an upgrade. A one-off setup fee, a fixed monthly fee, and everything below in the first release.
iPhone & Android apps
Two real apps in two real stores. Not a website in a wrapper — proper notifications, a home-screen widget and prayer times that work offline.
Push notifications
Jamaa'ah reminders and event alerts, plus committee announcements you can write, preview and schedule from a browser.
Events & calendar
Recurring programmes, categories, subscriptions and details — editable by your team without a release.
Qibla compass
Live bearing to the Ka'bah with distance, built on the device's magnetometer and GPS.
Donations & appeals
Appeals with live progress bars. Money goes to your masjid's own account — through your donation page, or Apple Pay and Google Pay where your charity is eligible. We never touch the funds.
Connect page
Website, YouTube, live stream, WhatsApp channel and socials, gathered behind one icon.
Your admin portal
One login for your masjid. Upload the year's timetable from Excel, post events, update appeals and send announcements — no developer needed.
Store submission
Listings, screenshots, privacy declarations and review responses handled end to end, under your own developer accounts.
Handover & support
A walkthrough with your team, a plain-English guide, ongoing updates, and a real person on the phone when something needs changing.
Before you bring it to the meeting.
Do we need anyone technical on our side?
No. If someone on your committee can use a spreadsheet, they can update prayer times and post an event. Everything else — hosting, certificates, builds, releases — I handle. Most masjids nominate one person as the point of contact and that's the extent of it.
Who owns the app once it's live?
Your masjid. It's published under your organisation's own Apple Developer and Google Play accounts, with your name on the listing and your community's reviews. Nisbah is added to those accounts as a team member to build and release it — I maintain it, I'm not the landlord.
What do we need to set up?
Two accounts in your masjid's name: an Apple Developer organisation account and a Google Play developer account. Apple asks for a free D-U-N-S number to verify your organisation, which can take a week or two — so we start it straight after the first call. You'll get a step-by-step guide written for committee members, not developers. Apple's and Google's own developer fees are paid to them directly.
Can we change prayer times ourselves?
Yes — that's the point. Upload your timetable straight from Excel or a CSV, and edit events, appeals and links in your admin portal. It's all content, not code, so changes reach every phone without an app update or a store review.
What if we already have a website?
Even better — the app links straight to it from the Connect page, alongside your YouTube, live stream and WhatsApp.
Is Android really ready?
The Central Mosque Rochdale iPhone app is live today. Nisbah apps are built from one codebase for both iPhone and Android, feature for feature, so masjids starting now get both submitted inside the same four-to-six week window.
What does it cost?
A one-off setup fee, then a fixed monthly fee covering hosting, the admin portal, updates and support. The setup fee depends on how much branding and content work your masjid needs, so I'd rather quote you honestly after a short call than post a number that's wrong for you. There are no per-member or per-notification charges, ever.
Let's talk about your masjid.
A thirty-minute call, no obligation, no slide deck. Tell me what your community keeps asking for and I'll tell you honestly whether an app is the answer — and what it would take.
